Comprehensive Speech-Language Evaluations

Do you have concerns about your child’s receptive language (understanding of words and information) and/or expressive language (use of gestures, words, and sentences to communicate wants and needs)?  Perhaps your child isn’t meeting speech-language milestones as expected?  A comprehensive speech-language evaluation will evaluate overall communication including play and social skills, receptive and expressive language skills, and speech sound production necessary for successful communication exchanges.  The comprehensive assessment will determine current strengths, weaknesses, and appropriate recommendations based on clinical observations and the primary concerns of the caregivers.  The evaluation lasts between 1-2 hours and includes a written report summarizing the findings and a treatment plan.
