Donna Moore, MA, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist & Owner
Peak Pediatric Therapy, LLC was created to provide quality speech, language, and feeding therapy services to children in Colorado Springs and Monument. Donna specializes in working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers addressing early language, speech sounds, and feeding skills. She loves establishing relationships and supporting families so that children can reach their peak potential.
Prior to founding Peak Pediatric Therapy, Donna worked with children in a variety of settings including pediatric outpatient therapy clinics for children’s hospitals, pediatric community based and early intervention programs, and pediatric private practices.
Donna has experience working with children with a variety of speech and language disorders, feeding difficulties, and medical diagnoses. Some children do not have underlying diagnoses or deficits severe enough to qualify for educational programming. Donna’s vision is to support all children that have a need and potential to improve their speech sounds, articulation, phonology, receptive language, expressive language, or feeding skills.
Parent coaching and empowerment is important to Donna as a certified clinician in The Hanen Program It Takes Two To Talk, More Than Words, and Talkability programs. In addition, she is trained in Sequential Oral Sensory (S.0.S.) Approach to Feeding and has attended extensive feeding and swallowing continuing education courses.
Donna received her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2002 and master’s degree in speech-language pathology from San Jose State University in 2009. She is certified as a speech-language pathologist by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, licensed by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, and licensed by the Colorado Department of Education.
In her free time, you will find Donna at the gym, running with friends, or spending time with her husband and two children.
